Staying at the Pensaativio House Hotel was a memorable experience. The hotel is beautifuly decorated, the views of the volcano are dramatic and the courtyard garden and terrace provide lots of spaces to relax. Had a very relaxing couple of days staying here whilst exploring Antiqua.
Visite Guatemala, e incluya en su viaje Tikal, Lago Atitlán y Antigua. Me gusta Pensativo House Hotel, es limpio, colonial y tiene muy buen servicio. Fue la celebración de mi cumpleaños y obtuvimos un ascenso a una suite, ¡gracias!
We recently visited Antigua, Guatemala and stayed at the Pensativo House Hotel. What a perfect location- in the heart of the city but secluded behind private walls and with beautiful views of the surrounding volcanoes. The rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully maintained. The included buffet breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruit, pastries and hot dishes every morning. By far the best part of this hotel, though, were the staff who were incredibly helpful and spoke English well. Special thanks to Miguel who paid attention to every detail and made our stay perfect!! Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Antigua.
I must have done something good in life to find this gem
As soon as I arrive I couldn’t believe I was in Central America, I thought I was somewhere in Europe. Antigua is a beautiful place I fell in love the moment I first saw it
But when I saw this piece of heaven, I change my vacation to spend more time here. The hotel is very well kept, modern but historic, the rooms are very private, its like an old house with beautiful rooms, every room has a beautiful view.The employees are amazing, the food is exquisite.
I do travel a lot and I hardly ever give a 5 star but this place deserves 5 stars!! They provide everything you need and more, toiletries, snacks, food service, I had the best couple massage at their sister hotel Portada.

Alojarse en el Hotel Pensativo House fue una experiencia memorable. El hotel está bellamente decorado, las vistas del volcán son espectaculares y el patio, el jardín y la terraza ofrecen muchos espacios para relajarse. Tuvimos un par de días muy relajantes aquí mientras exploraba Antigua.
